The very first speculations of other worldly beings arose many eons ago presumably when humankind was first making headway on our own planet. Strange structures such as the Pyramids at Gaza in Egypt were said to be erected by unknown beings because of their perfection at the point of the Earth. UFOs have been claimed to have been seen in our night skies for centuries. Even today people are still seeing unknown objects in the sky. There are many groups of people around the globe who claim to have been abducted by these beings from evidence of metal implants in various locations of their bodies. The conspiracy of Area 51 claimed American Government was withholding evidence of a UFO crash site and extraterrestrial lives in Roswell, New Mexico. Several other UFO/Alien conspiracies have been the fuel to our imaginations for years to come.
A well known team of scientists who are referred to as SETI(the Search for Extra Terrestrial Life) have been known for picking up unusual radio signals in certain regions of the galaxies repeatedly. Only about five to seven years ago space stations have reported that they have detected frozen water holes on planets in our galaxy and frozen bits of bacteria on Jupiter’s moon, Europa in the Antarctica continent.
This has been the million dollar mystery for years and scientists still have no idea of what or who could be out there beyond the Earth’s borders. Literally no one can come up with an appropriate estimate as to how vast our universe may be. It is no surprise that the universe is much more immense than our small human minds can comprehend.
We are already set with the common knowledge that the universe is larger than life itself and there are more galaxies out there than the one we reside in. If these are indeed factors in this theory then who are we to debunk all the theories of extraterrestrial life? Who are we to assume that we on Earth are the center of the universe containing life? How can we be so ignorant and small minded to say for certain that we are the only living beings out there? We may not be able to prove that there is something out there for certain but with all due respect we can not say that extraterrestrial life does not exist. To quote a favorite classic, ‘Contact’, “It would be an awful waste of space.”.

Recently it had been rumored that a certain group of representatives from the papacy, three U.S. Senators, representatives of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. National Guard, and from the G8 countries had met at the February 12-14, 2008, United Nation meeting in New York. The meeting was in regard to a recent increase of UFO activity on a global level. These meetings also pertain to a new scientific level of acceptance regarding the latest UFO activityagainst previous theories, they feel that the UFOs now may represent a “genuine unknown” that is worthy of scientific study and may well be guided by a non-human intelligence.
Recently, these rumors have been verified as the truth, endorsed by a French aviation expert by the name of Gilles Lorantan attach to the National Center for Scientific Research. Under the administrative authority of France’s Ministry of Research, he also belongs to the Institute of Advanced Studies for National Defense.
Considered as belonging to two prestigious scientific organizations of France, he had been invited to the U.N. meeting in a professional capacity. And belonging also to the Federation of European Airplane, a French UFO organization of which he is an executive member, Lorant and his French organizations have released a report of the secret Union Meeting which disclosed a summary of the meetings.
Held over three days, the initial meeting on February 12th led to three U.S. Senators asking for further meetings to discuss the UFO issues at hand, meaning the U.S. Senators had attended the secretive United Nation UFO meetings. The subsequent meetings were held on February 13th and 14th, with major concern over the developing social upheaval due to the increased UFO sightings and first-hand testimonies of UFO witnesses.
The year 2009 is now being focused on as when more updated official attitudes could be made regarding the UFO phenomenonthe official debunking of the UFOs would be abandoned, with a more serious study of it occurring. The suggestions of an official change in government policy from its ridicule and debunking to that of openness and acceptance concerning UFOs would then lead to official approval of scientific studies of the UFOs.
The meeting in New York was concluded with the United Nations agreeing with representatives of 28 nations. It was felt that this official treatment of UFO information was an international turning point if the number of UFO sightings would remain the same. And according to the the “United Press International,” UFO sightings in Britain alone are on the riseall last year there were 135 sightings, up from 97 the year before.
Hilary Porter of the British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society says there had been an “absolutely enormous” increase in UFO sightings. “We have had call after call after call, from business people right down to ordinary folk in their cars,” she said. Close by, dozens of sightings in Stephenville, Texas, report numerous UFO sightings, in addition to Canada sightings.

Would it not be completely egotistical of us to assume that we are the only life form in the universe? Without any idea of how far the universe goes, or what it contains many light years away from us here, nobody can say absolutely and without doubt that other life forms do not exist. There are many reports of UFO sightings and while many are proved to be fraudulent how many are untold due to fear of ridicule? If we as a race accepted the idea that life does exist then we may find that many more stories come to light.
The reason that many do not wish to except that other could exist (and no doubt does) is that they are bound into their way of thinking by the bible. Churches have used this book to rule for millions of years and even now are having to backtrack on claims made in it. If we see that the church has recinded its claim that all life started from Adam and Eve then we can also easily see that we are created by evolution and quirks in planetary formation. If we accept that anomilies occur and that we are one, then we must accept that this could happen elsewhere in the universe. Until and unless people stop believing that we must be the only ones (does that make these people human supremists)then there will be no open disclosure of known military facts and no open and informed discussion on the other life forms that no doubt neighbour us. While information is witheld there can only ever be debates, discussion and outright guess work by those of us who realise that if one anomily can occur so can many others.

The question could be Why wouldn’t the US Military cover UFO sightings?’ The US military has every reason to cover UFO sightings.
First of all, no one knows what has been sighted until they are investigated. To ignore reports of anything flying in the skies that cannot be identified on sight would be foolish. The government, which controls the military, would be remiss if they didn’t investigate the reports of its citizens. It is the government’s job, the role of the military, to protect the citizens of the United States. They cannot protect us if they are unaware of the dangers.
There are thousands of UFO sightings across the country with many more thousands of people having witnessed one or more sightings. Sightings have occurred in every state in the Union and over a span of many years. Varied are the witnesses in their backgrounds and experiences. The circumstances surrounding the sightings are not always the same. Some occur in broad daylight, others in the dead of night. Many are out in the middle of nowhere’ while others are inside city limits.
It is a well documented fact that persons of high intelligence and moral integrity have witnessed a UFO flying over the landscape. Groups of citizens have reported seeing a UFO, or more than one, at the same time that individuals have also given their account of the same incident. No two sightings on two different dates are exactly the same.
Because of the facts given above, UFO sightings cannot be labeled as mass hysteria. It must be recognized that something the witness cannot identify has indeed flown within their sight.
Now it has also been discussed as a possibility that the US Military is the government controlled body responsible for the unidentified flying objects seen in all of these sightings. They have been accused of testing weaponry. The military has been accused of the plotting and carrying out of secret missions by way of these UFO’s. The military will no longer discuss whether they have anything to do with UFO’s or not. This only adds to the speculation by the media and the public, that Yes, indeed, the military is up to something.’
Suppose for one moment that hundreds of individual citizens bombarded the phone banks of the local police and media outlets with reports of one or more UFO’s flying across the sky. Many of the callers say, with much feeling and emotion, that the UFO’s were moving quickly toward the state capital. They cannot contain their fear that an alien invasion

Today, most people have their own opinions about UFOs. Many will say they believe there is alien life in the universe. Others will say there is not life in the universe, but scientists find new planets every day, making opinions change. Although there are numerous different galaxies in the universe, scientists have no solid evidence that there is alien life.
In the same way as opinions, there are many different theories about what UFOs and abductions are. Scientists and ufologists have investigated UFO sightings/abductions and have found that the people who claim to be abducted and see UFOs are mentally stable and well educated which helps prove the theory that UFOs are from aliens (Haisch 1). Moreover, during Project Blue Book thousands of UFO cases were identified as airplanes, jets, and other human aircrafts (Clark 278). The other 700 that were claimed “unidentified” are supposedly alien’ incidents (Clark 278). While the two main theories about UFOs are that they are mistaken airplanes and aliens, another theory is that it is the person’s imagination or a vivid dream (Clark 13). In most of these dreams the person sees strange things that they have never seen before which leads them to believe that they had sighted or been abducted by an alien. However, even after centuries of seeing UFOs there has never been solid proof as to what exactly these UFOs are.
Furthermore, an important, history-changing crash that occurred was the Roswell, New Mexico crash of 1947. This famous crash is said to be the first major government cover-up. Many witnesses and other military officers reported that the crashed object was a flying disc supposedly from space (Wilson 81). Government officials however claim that it wasn’t a flying disc and that it was simply a weather balloon (Wilson 81). The evidence of this crash will most likely be found at the National Reconnaissance Office and the CIA, but there is no guarantee that you will have access to it (Wilson 85). A great example of the public withdrawing previously classified information is Project Blue Book. Project Blue Book was a government group that investigated UFO cases from 1947 (the same year as the Roswell crash) through 1969 (Randles 193). Between that twenty-two year period they investigated approximately 12,600 UFO sightings, but only 700 of those were claimed “unidentified” (Clark 278).
