What constitutes UFO evidence? – Part 2

By admin On July 20th, 2009

Talk of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) conjures up visions of a paranormal-obsessed Special Agent Fox Mulder deconstructing the government cover-up of alien life on the 1993-2002 FOX television series, The X-Files. Others remember first contact with alien beings through lavish lighting and melodious musical patterns in the 1977 film, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Still others recall the 1982 film, E.T., that lovable, displaced little green alien who suffers from an acute bout of homesickness. “The truth is out there,” claimed The X-Files. But is it really? And just what constitutes UFO evidence?

Suppose an obscure wandering mystic in East Asia claimed he saw a UFO fly overhead and hover above the village where he was temporarily staying. Several years later, a follower of this mystic claimed he too saw an unidentified craft on several occasions making strange and sudden right turns in the sky and vanishing and reappearing at will. Would the world suddenly believe in the UFO phenomenon on the basis of these two accounts alone? Of course not. Only two witnesses have come forward, both in the same exact location and who know each other, but no other part of the world has witnessed anything like it.

But what if multiple credible witnesses; doctors, politicians, lawyers, military personnel, police officers, scientists, professors, astronauts, volunteer firefighters; all claim to have experienced an otherworldly UFO sighting? What if these individuals were not bound to one location, but were scattered throughout the entire globe? And what if these sightings didn’t happen in one day, but rather throughout a span of decades? That would indicate a statistical pattern and an obvious indication that something is in fact going on.

Amazingly, this is precisely the pattern we see today. According to UFO Evidence.org, one of the largest scientific repositories of UFO information in the world, over 6,450 reports have been filed since October 2003 alone (today, that number has likely increased). UFO Evidence.org cites that approximately five to seven percent of people (roughly fifteen to twenty million Americans) have seen a UFO, and ten to fifteen percent of people are acquainted with someone who has seen a UFO. Furthermore, an estimated several hundred thousand UFO sightings have been documented over the past 50 years, and the total number of UFO sightings worldwide is estimated in the millions. Of the several thousand sightings that occur each year, most go unreported.

This clearly shows that the UFO phenomenon is not an elaborate deception; it is very real to those who have seen the foreign spacecraft and who have experienced otherworldly phenomena associated with it. Multiple credible witnesses from many nations, occupations, and backgrounds have come forward to put their lives and reputations on the line. And it is precisely the experiences of these witnesses that constitutes evidence that UFOs are real.

But the question still remains: who are they, where are they from, and what are they here for? I’ll have to leave that question for the reader to ponder.

What constitutes UFO evidence?

When discussing UFO’s we must first make the distinction that UFO is an acronym for Unidentified Flying Object and not for Flying vehicles of extra-terrestrial origin. That being said let us consider what is evidence that a flying object can not be identified. Lights in the sky are not objects and as such can not be considered evidence of Unidentified Flying objects. Stellar Phenomenon appear to be flying and yet are not so while they are objects that may not have been identified they are not flying and so are once again not UFO’s. Lastly, objects that are identified can not be UFO’s. This last point may seem to be a case of stating the obvious and yet we will see later on how important this last point is when it comes to what constitutes evidence of UFO’s.

The words UFO immediately bring to mind the idea of Aliens. However, proving the existence of UFO’s does not necessarily mean proving the existence of Aliens. The evidence required to prove UFO’s is not nearly as much as would be required to prove extra terrestrial visitation.

The most acceptable evidence of UFO presence in our skies would have to be radar contact by a military vehicle. Since the military would be aware of any experimental aircraft being tested, the inability of the military to identify a flying object that is confirmed on RADAR would have to constitute conclusive evidence of Unidentified Flying Objects. The second most acceptable evidence of UFO presence would be civilian radar contact, with civilian pilot confirmation, and Military denial of ownership. The Radar is an integral part of the evidence since it confirms that there is an actual object that is actually flying for the observer to attempt to identify. Objects that have been confirmed by radar can not be reflected lights nor can they be celestial bodies and the observer being unable to identify the object makes it by definition a UFO with out any doubt.

Many people will equate evidence of UFO’s with evidence of Alien visitors. However, if we knew that these sightings were alien visitation they would not be UFO’s as we have already pointed out in the first paragraph, objects that can be identified are not UFO’s. The point is that these flying objects are unidentified. They could be vehicles from other countries. They could be Time travelers from this planet some time in the future. They could be aliens from other worlds. They could be Angels doing the work of God. Unidentified means we don’t know what it is, not that it is alien.

This leads us to the inescapable conclusion that if we ever acquire evidence that UFO’s are of alien origin then they will cease to be UFO’s.

UFOs (unidentified flying objects): Fact or fiction? – Part 2

The existence of UFOs is one of the largest lies and deceits of the 20th century. Carefully consider my entire argument before passing judgment. In order for something to exist it must withstand scientific analysis and verification. Seeing does not mean believing. Many people have seen many things on television, movies, books, newspapers and the like. Seeing and believing does not mean something exists. Pink elephants during an acid trip may seem altogether real and maybe a little frightening, but it does not mean that the strange and offensive creature is more real than an illusion. I doubt that scientific research in paranoia and hallucination have scientifically verified that hallucinations become ‘real’ in terms of physical existence.

UFOs do not exist solely because they are seen by few people in regards to the worldwide population. A large number of people agreeing UFOs exist in our world holds absolutely no sway as well. At any given time, public opinion borders on fifty percent in support and against a president and many other polarizing issues. Reality does not depend on a “majority takes all” definition on it’s plausibility or existence. Everyone can agree that I am a millionaire, but alas that does not make it true for myself. People in agreement that UFOs exist does not verify their existence. Therefore, UFOs still remain in fiction.

There is no significant physical evidence for UFOs in existence. If you call moldings from some indentations in the ground, cleverly faked video footage from anonymous or questionable people, regressive hypnosis recordings that have been found to be about as reliable as the word of a politician as solid physical evidence then I have a section of a bridge for sell you might want to buy. No significant physical evidence exists that strongly supports that UFOs are real. Movies that make millions of dollars don’t count, sorry. Also statements from the world governments of the “no comment” nature hold nothing. Governments have been proved time and time again that lying to the populace is the best way to control them. “Go ahead people, keep on looking up for it. While you’re looking for UFOs, please ignore the lies we just told!”

UFOs are not reproducible. UFOs are not easily replicated by researchers and many discoveries are only seen once and never to be seen again. This can be seen in the very well documented UFO sightings. As years go by, the shape, configuration, performance, color and other physical

Extraterrestrial life: Fact or fiction – Part 16

Life flourishes above and below, in each and every corner of the earth; is it really that unimaginable that life exists in harsh terrains, or atmospheres? We have creatures living in the arctic, and near the mouth of active ocean volcanoes these are the most vicious atmospheres to exist in, yet life thrives there. Is this a romantic idea? No; it is just simply a fact.

Each and everyday here on earth we locate and discover new forms of life in the oceans and on dry land. Logic dictates that from the vast amount of life here on earth it is impossible for life not to exist else where in the universe. Look no further than your back yard to witness the incredible diversity in life.

Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution is part of the account and reasoning for life to thrive and survive in harsh climates. Why on earth or space is it that unimaginable that life can not exist beyond our own physical realm of existence? Many of us believe in a heaven and a hell, we can not see it but we believe.

It should not be disturbing that there are other humanoid, or intelligent creatures within the universe once you adopt the concept of “common ancestors. It is stated within the Bible in Genesis 1:26, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..” It would appear that the bible does indicate we have similarities to our creator, or creators.

The gift of religion is to believe without seeing; and knowing in your heart that there is something greater than us within the universe. We can not see all life forms on earth, so why do humans even have any doubt of life through out the universe especially considering the amount of people who believe in god?

Religion has been so manipulated through the years by our leaders for power and control that we have given up on locating and understanding the fundamental truths that life exists beyond our realm. For the record; I for one will not be manipulated because the truth is before my very eyes; each and everyday just from the simple act of looking out my window and seeing a bird fly.

After all, it is our leaders that fear loss of control. Once the factual reality of life outside of our world exists it will impact all of humanity, and religion. This will give birth to a true universal understanding that life; no matter the form or function is a tremendous value to the universe as a whole. Resulting in the betterment of all things here, there, near or far.
